The Daedalum.

A photo repository for the photography of Derek Cutting.
Former operator of The Gloomth Daedalum, he is now just on his own, in the wilderness, with a camera. Or two. And sometimes some rolls of medium format film.
And probably his dog at his side.
Model Mayhem and DeviantArt were too pricey, and cumbersome.

These are my stories, this is my life

Wow!  Ural Motorcycles, the maker of my bike, officially posted my photo on their tumblr!

Wow, only a small sample of the photos taken and of the amazing talent put in by so many great people.  A preview of the charity calendar photos we did for a local tank museum in our hometown of Oshawa, Ontario.  I had to sneak my bike into a couple of shots, of course (-;   Some of these are shot with a 1940’s era Rolleicord TLR and Kodak T-Max film.  Had a wonderful day and the military personnel were incredibly helpful in moving things around for us.

Updates to the bike!

In honour of the delivery of the new bike tomorrow, I thought I’d post a few shots of the bike in action by others.  After getting to sit on it again today, I’m convinced it’s a tank and much larger than the photos make it out to be!

Proving that when life gives you lemons, you find a hat and do a totally different shoot at the spur of the moment.  Once again, the ever talented Vudu Juju appears as someone taking photos she maybe shouldn’t be (-;

Mixture of digital and old film, it was a great shoot to do at the last second, even if the day was a little damp and grim.

Some recent photos from a shoot with Adala Clothing!  Shot with joy, featuring  Vudu Juju, and Christina Mastronardi!
